God’s Word teaches us that in order to go to Heaven, you must be born again. This is not a question of how good you are or whether you are a church member--it is a work done by God alone that is free to all who believe Him.
In the Bible, God gives us a simple plan of how to be saved by being born again, as a new creation, into a new family--the family of God. In John 3:7, Jesus said to Nicodemus, “Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.”
God's plan is simple. You can be saved. You can be born again, right now, today.
First, you must accept the fact that you, like all mankind, are a sinner.
Romans 3:10 - As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:
Romans 3:23 - For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;
Everyone sins and falls short of God's perfect holiness, and our sins condemn us to death.
Romans 6:23a - For the wages of sin is death...
This death is eternal separation from God in Hell, a place He created for Satan and his followers.
Hebrews 9:27 - And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:
But we have hope! Here's why: God made a way for us to be forgiven of our sins and to put on His righteousness as our own. He loves us so much that He paid the price for our sins, and He will pardon you if you accept this gift and simply put your faith in Him.
Romans 6:23b - ...but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
John 3:16 - For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
2 Corinthians 5:21 - For he hath made Him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.
Jesus shed His perfect blood on the cross and gave His life for you and me.
Hebrews 9:22 - And almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and without shedding of blood is no remission.
Romans 5:8 - But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
In Acts chapter 16, the Roman jailer asked Paul and Silas:
Acts 16:30 - ...Sirs, what must I do to be saved?
Acts 16:31 - And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.
No church, no association, and no good works can save you. Only God can do that.
Ephesians 2:8-9 - For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.
Simply believe on Him, the One who paid the price for your sin by dying in your place, being buried, and rising again. This is the gospel.
John 14:6 - Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
John 1:12 - But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:
Romans 10:13 - For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
If you are a sinner in need of a Savior, you can, right now, wherever you are, call on God in prayer. You don't have to wait.
II Corinthians 6:2b - ...Behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.
If you read this and you called on God to be your Savior, we would love to celebrate with you!
